Hi Parents,
In math this week we wrapped up subtraction and addition with regrouping. We started looking at multiplication, this will be a concept we cover for a number of weeks as we move through the different ways to represent and explain the multiplication process. We have looked at array multiplication using base ten blocks and will move into partial product next week.
In science students have been working on our Environmental Call to Action research project. The research page for this is due on Monday October 29 and the formal letter will be due on Monday November 5. All of the resources for this task (task outline, rubric and letter template) are in the folder "science shared with students" on google docs. The research page will not be assessed but it is an important part of the planning process for the letter which will be graded.
