Health (Human Sexuality) letters have been sent home. They only
require an initial and to be returned to school if you would NOT like your
student to participate in the Human Sexuality classes. Please email your homeroom teacher if you have any questions about this.
Math/Science:
This week in math students completed the good copy of their Garden
Boxes and Backyard Blueprints. In science students used what they had learned
about parallel and series circuits to determine which type of circuit they
would use when installing watering and lighting systems within their Backyard
Blueprints. Students then “checked” their circuit using the Phet Simulator,
determining what voltage and layout the circuit would need to run efficiently.
The final good copy of the Backyard Blueprint (with the circuit)
are due on Monday June 10th. During Monday’s class students will get
a chance to present their Backyard Blueprint and Circuits!
