Math/Science:
This week in math students applied newly learned concepts of
Volume and Metric Conversion to further develop and detail their Garden
blueprints. Next week students will work with fractions and dollar values to
choose the plants they will include in their garden boxes. Each plant will
provide a different yield so this will be a fun puzzle for the students!
In science students completed two interactive labs that explored magnetism
and electromagnetic forces. Students compared the similarities between
electricity and magnetism and discussed the relationship between them.
Next week students will learn more about the different types of
circuits, parallel and series, to better prepare them for the circuit building
within their Garden project.
