Math/Science:
In math this week we continued our work with array multiplication and started looking at partial product multiplication. Students seem to like the partial product strategy better, as it breaks up the 2-digit numbers into their place values, allowing for easier multiplication questions with an addition component. I have added information about partial product multiplication to the "shared with students" math google doc if you are interested. In science this week we looked at how weather and wetlands connect through the water cycle. We will continue tracking and recording weather next week as we prepare for our field trip, which will be weather focused, on Thursday.
