Math/Science:
This week in math we focused on traditional long division. Students spent most of the week practicing 2 and 3-digit by 1-digit division through games and practice problems. I have attached another worksheet link, this is the homepage and will allow you to choose the difficulty of the questions you want to practice at home. I would highly encourage students practice division over the weekend as it has been a difficult concept and requires repetition. Some students are finding the most success practicing the long division format using smaller numbers, 75 ÷ 3 instead of 275 ÷ 3, until they get more confident with the process, this is encouraged!

This week in science we have been preparing for the open book unit test by creating and playing Study Jeopardy Games on google drive. The test will be on Tuesday (it is open book and there shouldn’t be any surprises). Students were encouraged to bring their science folders home over the weekend to review if they are feeling nervous about the test. Students can add more to their folder if they like as these will be the books they bring into the test.
