January 11th- Blog Post

Happy Friday!

Math/Science
In math we have started our division unit, focusing only on numbers that relate to our basic multiplication facts to 81. In working with our fact families, students have been able to see how division and multiplication are inversely related, using one operation to "check" the other. I would encourage students to work for 10-15 minutes a couple times a week on basic division facts outside of school. I have attached a link to some worksheets below.

In science we have started our Weather Graphing and Data Collection task. Students have started the data collection stage of the task.We will start graphing our data and making Tourism Infographics in the coming weeks.

Have a wonderful weekend :)
