Humanities/ 5-4 Parents

Students discussed the settlement of New France and the beginnings of the fur trade. They are learning about the coureurs de bois, voyageurs, Metis and much more.

Red Journal 

The red journal topic this week was  "If you could switch lives with one person for a day, who would it be and why?" Students were expected to answer using 5-7 sentences and could use the OREO format but were not required to do so. Please have a discussion with your child about their answer and sign their book. 

Volunteers Room 5-4

Just a reminder our class will need 2-3 (or more) volunteers for our week long trip to Vivo during the week of March 4-8. Please let me know via email which days you would be able to volunteer.
