This week students learned about the Underground Railroad and some of the important people that helped free slaves from the United States. Next week 5-3 will be writing an example of a secret letter that may have been used during the time of the Underground Railroad. 5-4 students will be completing the activity the following week.
Field Trip 5-4
Reminder students from 5-4 will be going to Vivo next week for a week long field trip. We will be participating in a variety of activities that will promote healthy living and making a positive impact on others. Students should be bringing both comfortable indoor and outdoor shoes, a lunch, snack and water. Please ensure that they leave all their valuables at home or at school, they will have no need for a phone or money. If you have any questions regarding the field trip please send me an email and I will try and answer your question.
